Utah’s police-vs-fire charity hockey tradition is typically held in late January in conjunction with a Utah Grizzlies Guns N Hoses theme night. The 2027 date will be posted when the Grizzlies release their theme-night schedule.

Utah law enforcement (“Guns”) and firefighters (“Hoses”) faced off on the ice in the community’s signature fundraiser. Proceeds support first-responder families and charitable programs aligned with our mission.

Utah’s Guns & Hoses charity hockey tradition has been covered by local media for more than a decade, with games benefiting causes including the University of Utah Burn Camp, Huntsman Cancer Institute, Utah Burn Camp for Children, and support for police and fire families facing medical hardship.
