Guns & Hoses Tradition
For years, Utah’s “Guns” (police) and “Hoses” (firefighters) have competed in charity games, often at the Maverik Center in West Valley City to rally public support for first responders.

Utah Guns & Hoses Charity Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that channels community generosity toward police officers, firefighters, and the families who stand behind them—especially through Utah’s long-running Guns & Hoses charity tradition.
Our Mission
We raise and distribute charitable support for Utah law enforcement and fire service communities and the causes that matter to them.
Family Support
Proceeds help families facing serious medical needs, hardship, and other challenges—honoring those who protect our communities every day.
Community Partners
Historic Utah Guns & Hoses events have also benefited programs such as the Utah Burn Camp, Huntsman Cancer Institute, and other local charities.
